Lee Wagner

Lee Wagner served in the U.S. Marine Corps for eight years and is an Iraq War veteran. Lee’s professional and personal work focuses on helping veterans, active service members and their families, get better connected with supportive services. Outside of this work, Lee regularly takes part in local social and physical activities working to better connect Veterans to each other and their community. Over the last decade Lee has continued his meditation practice and in 2020 he will be working on receiving his own yoga and meditation instructor certifications.

Luke Taiclet

Luke, A US ARMY Veteran, is a fully certified Warriors at Ease Instructor.  Prior to his certification, Luke completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and is a Registered Yoga Alliance Teacher (RYT-200) as well as a Certified Meditation Instructor (CMI).

Luke is a volunteer yoga instructor for the Butler Veteran's Administration Health Care System where he teaches classes based on his Warriors at Ease training.  He offers the same training at Semper Fi Odyssey, a Veteran's reintegration program.  

Luke teaches Meditation throughout the Pittsburgh area and offers one on one instruction on a limited basis.  All of Luke's instruction focuses on the evolving scientific study of somatics, brain/body relationship, and how developing awareness of the relationship, via yoga and meditation, can help us gain insight and relieve trauma and anxiety.  

Luke's approach to teaching beginners is to let them experience several types of meditation so that they might find which practice resonates with them.  He incorporates discussion of the science behind mediation to help de-mystify the practice.  This also helps us find deeper understanding and compassion for ourselves and others.  Most importantly, he reminds his students to smile and give themselves permission to  just be here now.

Michelle Lynch

Michelle brings 20 years experience studying and practicing yoga, breathing and meditation.  She is the co-founder of Yoga for the Emotions and the founder/executive director of Love Allegheny, a local non-profit providing support for professionals in the wellness & creative healing arts industry.  

Michelle began teaching yoga and breathing, with a 400 hour yoga certification, at Iyengar Yoga Institute of Pittsburgh over 9 years ago and specializes in stress management.  She has offered stress management programs in corporate settings, with teens, at Mercy hospital: breathing for neurological recovery, as well as with veterans, our National Guard and the general population. 

Michelle is also Certified as a Warriors at Ease instructor and Certified as an iRest Yoga Nidra teacher.   

Her approach to the individual body in yoga is also greatly influenced by the teachings of Dr. Murray Bowen, Bowen Family Systems Theory, during her two years of the basic seminar offered through Western Pennsylvania Family Center as well as over two decades of personal and continued study.  Michelle continues her practice and also helped to form Inside The Wire because of her personal experience in finding resilience and relief from pain and struggle in her own life.  With deep gratitude and appreciation she hopes to pay it forward while also feeling that being with others exploring this work within themselves, reminds her again to be at home in her own self.
