When a service member is outside the wire, they have their armor on, flak jacket, Kevlar helmet, weapon and ammo. When returning back inside the wire, from a patrol or convoy, they can take all that gear off and relax. The feeling of taking off that heavy and sweaty gear is so relieving, you can breathe and relax. It can be a quiet, peaceful space. A break from the unknown threats, outside the wire.
Our purpose is to come together in a secure space, to pause for respite, together as a community.
Our mission is to make sure that every service member, and their family, has access to locating mind/body wellness & healing resources in their local area. We strive to gather and list these resources all in one place so that each individual can choose from the best fit for themselves and find a sense of community from wherever they are.
